When professional food critics review restaurants, they often spread it out over multiple visits.  It gives them a chance to actually taste everything, and perhaps make a judgement call on the consistency of the food.

On my second visit I kept with some staples (croissant, walnut crusted goodness) and tried some new things - peach and cherry tart, hazelnut macaroon, mixed berry scone, cinnamon bun, and madelaines. All of them good. Only the peach tart stood out. Are peaches in season now? That might be why.

Good thing I walked here.
